I don’t have any real life friends on Twitter. There – I’ve said it.
So this week I have been looking for local tweeters.
To my surprise it wasn’t that hard to find folks in the Wiltshire/Berkshire area of the UK to follow – and some interesting folks I found too.
My search has led to a whole bunch of new follows and followers, the creation of a Twitter Group for Thames Valley Tweeters (thanks goes to @timalmond) and the possibility of arranging a tweet-up in Swindon.
I am interested in connecting with those living and/or working in the Swindon/Newbury/Reading area of the M4 corridor that already use Twitter. This would make for easy meet-ups thanks to the M4 and the railway line. It would be nice to get a little networking community of like-minded and web-savvy individuals up together for regular meetings.
