As I am finding it difficult to come up with any content that isn’t cheesy, I thought I would go with the flow and Meme my way to another cheddar flavor post.
A friend of mine did something like this on Facebook and I have copied her questions in order to review 2008.
Where did you begin 2008?
At the beginning of 2008 we were staying with my Grandparents while we waited for our house purchase to go through.
What was your status by Valentine’s Day?
My other half and I had been engaged for a whole year (I assume this question means ‘relationship status’)
Were you in school (anytime this year)?
Yes – but only to help my Maths teacher other-half put up displays and tidy his classroom.
How did you earn your money?
I started the year temping for the Technology Strategy Board while waiting to find my dream job. I then started work at EcoSearch in April.
Did you have to go to the hospital?
Yes, but not for myself. I went to see my cousin-in-law’s brand new baby.
Did you have any encounters with the police?
Yes - but not in a bad way.
Where did you go on holiday?
I honeymooned with my husband in Fabulous Las Vegas!
What did you purchase that was over £1000?
A house, a holiday, wedding photography and I am sure my car has cost me more than that this year… No wonder I’m broke!
Did you know anybody who got married?
ME! As well as my sister-in-law.
Did you know anybody who passed away?
No
Did you move anywhere?
Yes, as you may have noticed, my hubby and I bought our first house.
What concerts/shows did you go to?
I don’t think I saw any bands in 2008 
I did see ‘Wicked’ in London in September and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone that likes musical theatre.
Are you registered to vote?
I know I filled in the form but I can’t remember if I posted it…
Who did you want to win Big Brother?
I’m afraid I didn’t watch it.
I did enjoy the Dead Set series though.
Where do you live now?
Berkshire in the South of England
Describe your birthday.
My husband went away mountain-biking in France and left me home alone! So I spent it with my parents in Wiltshire and then had friends to stay for a girly sleep-over.
What’s one thing you thought you’d never do but did in 2008?
Probably starting this blog – It was not at all on my to-do list at the start of the year.
What has been your favorite moment?
Walking into church 20 minutes late at my own wedding after forgetting my bouquet and sending my dad home for it! My dress was so big that I had to pigeon step down the aisle so that I didn’t fall over.
What’s something you learnt about yourself?
I had been neglecting my inner geek over recent years. I am pleased to report, she has now returned.
Any new additions to your family?
I gained another whole family full of Robinsons when I got married.
What was your best month?
April – wedding, honeymoon and new job were all awsome
What music do you remember?
I remember hearing Nickelback’s Rockstar a lot on my way to work early in the year.
The Killers are probably my favorite current band.
Who has been your best drinking buddy?
I don’t think I’ve had any… hubby doesn’t really drink. I’ve nearly gone tea total for lack of drinking buddies.

Favorite night out?
I don’t think I can beet my Wedding day - best day of my life!
