I’m a fan of 15 things… apparently

by TheSourceress on February 17, 2009

I just nipped onto Facebook and was surprised to see that without really thinking I had become a fan of 15 different pages.

When did this happen?

I thought you might be interested to see which pages I have been inspired to show my allegiance to.

In Alphabetical Order:

AIRS – A company of The RightThing – AIRS provide recruitment training with a focus on online techniques.

Bill Bailey – A English stand-up comedian, actor, and musician known for appearing on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, QI, Have I Got News for You, and Black Books as well as his stand up comedy.

Chris Brogan – From ChrisBrogan.com. I probably read every word he writes – Chris is a genius when it comes to building relationships for business and using all the tools the web has to make that easier.

Dean Hunt – Buzz Marketing, Killer Bunnies and so much more.

EcoSearch – An Executive Search Consultancy specialising in Renewable Energy (my employer).

Facebook Pages – I think everyone that makes a Facebook page (I created the page for EcoSearch) winds up a fan of Facebook Pages.

Frosties – They’re Grrrreat!

Green Pepper – A great blog about eco-friendly living and environmental issues.

Monster UK – One of the world’s largest job boards.

Ridgeway School – My high school.

Star Trek – They’re really plugging that new movie! I’m really excited and can’t wait for May.

Top Gear - Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and The Stig. Cars and the destruction of Caravans - what more could you ask from entertainment?

TrekUnited – An internet experience for Star Trek fans. It’s got news, bogs, galleries and chat, among other things.

Tweetdeck – If you use twitter this needs no explanation - quite simply the best tool there is for getting your twit in order.

Twitter – It’s a way of life. Join us!

It’s odd that I hardly ever look at these pages and even un-fan pages that message me updates all the time.

What have you pressed the ‘become a fan’ button for - and what do you do after that?
